Burrtec USA exhibited in Denver at PestWorld 2024 – the pest control industry’s national trade show – and had a successful launch of its new Ratshut product designed to protect garage doors. Burrtec also showcased a version of Ratshut designed as a new sweep product for doors.
At PestWorld, Burrtec USA had a great deal of sales activity as well as met with global distributors, pest management professionals from the United States, Mexico, Europe, and more. In addition, Burrtec had meetings with the editors from the two major pest control magazines, PCT – Pest Control Technology, and PMP – Pest Management Professional.
According to Burrtec USA Market Manager and International Sales Manager Ken Arai, PestWorld 2024 was a huge step in the launch of the new Ratshut products.
“We had a wonderful show with our new Ratshut generating sales, additional leads, interest from the media, and from our competition,” said Arai. “It’s the first pest control product to directly support openings around garage doors to prevent mice and rats from seeking entry.”
Ratshut is a rodent-proof weather strip designed to prevent rodents from entering through openings at the top and sides of garage doors. It comes with a slick white design with a stainless-steel plate inside the plastic exterior. It is durable yet flexible plastic and installs quickly.
PestWorld is the annual trade show and conference for professionals working in the pest control industry. It is hosted by the National Pest Management Association (NPMA), a non-profit organization designed to help protect public health, food, and property from pests.
