Cities and states have varying techniques to dealing with rodents. These regulations vary and help give professionals a baseline for how to approach control.

On a federal level, insecticides are regulated by the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) and the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA).
